e-Assessment at Curtin
e-Assessment encompasses the use of information technology, computers or electronic devices in any assessment related activity. In its broadest sense this may include activities through the full assessment cycle from assessment design, to delivery, evaluation, feedback and review.
e-Assessment at Curtin is supported by the Assessment Centre and the Office of Assessment Teaching and Learning. The Assessment Centre presently offers the following:
- Invigilated computer based assessments
- Scanning and reporting of results for tests utilising OMR (Optical Mark Recording) sheets
- Assistance with the use of the Turnitin plagiarism detection service
The Assessment Centre is located on the fifth floor of the Robertson Library (105.510). Opening hours are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. If you are interested in learning more about the services offered please contact us at Assessment.Centre@curtin.edu.au
